Fathers Day Project

Thanks to helpful folks on the Yahoo Gemini Owners forum, Meg and I decide to try our hand at Canvas work. Several folks from the forum offered tips for the first time canvas person. We made the cover for the helm window, and started the cover for the Master Stateroom (until we were rained out). I must say, we do not think it turned out too bad (but maybe we are a bit biased).

Free Power!

We added another solar panel on the davits, which has increased our total output to 230 watts. The solar controller is showing over 13 amps, and that was without full sun on the panels.

Centerboard Job

The only way we could sand the centerboards and apply epoxy barrier coat, was to do it in the marina's travel lift. Here is how it turned out. Poor Meg is all dirty from helping.

Been a very busy past few month's

Well,
I guess I failed as a blogger. Have been way to busy to blog, busy working on and upgrading the boat. Here is a picture of what the new bottom job turned out like. Bottom was stripped to bare glass, faired and 4 coats of interprotect 2001 epoxy barrier were applied. We also applied a boot stripe.
