Thanks to helpful folks on the Yahoo Gemini Owners forum, Meg and I decide to try our hand at Canvas work. Several folks from the forum offered tips for the first time canvas person. We made the cover for the helm window, and started the cover for the Master Stateroom (until we were rained out). I must say, we do not think it turned out too bad (but maybe we are a bit biased).

Well done Lou/Meg - the boat and the new covers look great.
We have the factory option "eyebrow" on that cabin window, but I have the material and on my to do list to make a cover for the master berth window. I purchased a material that really does not hold its shape well, so I keep starting the job and putting it aside - but as we are about to head south I know I really need to get this done!
